Free Tyre Safety Event

With winter approaching, it’s important that the tyres on your vehicle are ready for the cold winter months ahead and you know how to spot a tyre that could be unsafe. Cold, damp and icy roads can seriously affect the performance of your tyres and you could be putting yourself and others at risk if yours aren’t up to standard. Come along for a great evening, filled with fun facts while also learning about vehicle and tyre safety.

To help out drivers in our region, The Auto Care Group is hosting a tyre safety event at the Darlington site on 27^th November 2019. The evening is to try to help people understand the areas of tyre and vehicle safety. Our four safety stations will inform people of:

Under bonnet checks
Tracking/wheel alignment
The dangers of part worn tyres
How to safely change a wheel

Drivers will receive advice on the above and will receive a free goody bag containing tyre tread depth gauges and discount vouchers.

The event will run from 7 pm – 9 pm at 121 Parkgate Darlington, DL1 1RZ but we recommend people to arrive by 6:30 pm to make the most of the refreshments on offer. There is parking on-site and you don’t need to bring anything apart from yourselves.
